RiderVerdict is an independent editorial site about motorcycle riding equipment and servicing parts — full-face, flip-up, open-face, adventure and motocross helmets, intercom systems, textile and leather jackets, riding trousers, suits and matched sets, summer and winter gloves, touring and short boots, back protectors, airbag vests and rain gear — and the visors, anti-fog inserts, liners and pads, balaclavas, base layers and limb armour, engine oils, oil and air filters, spark plugs, chain kits, chain lubricants and chain tools, brake pads and brake fluid, tyre repair kits and pressure gauges, paddock stands, battery chargers, cleaning products, top boxes, panniers, tank bags, straps and nets, disc and chain locks, phone mounts, action cameras and machine covers that go with them. It does not cover car diagnostics, jacks and mechanic's tooling, portable power stations and solar panels, bicycle locks, lights and drivetrain parts, or hiking packs and head torches, all of which are covered elsewhere; nor work fitted by a dealer under warranty, nor engine tuning, nor riding instruction. Weights, shell sizes, armour levels, approval versions and dates, viscosity grades and oil specifications, chain pitches and link counts, pad references, disc diameters, torque figures, load and speed indices, capacities, dimensions and quoted temperatures published by manufacturers are reported as such, with their unit written as published, with their source named, and never derived by us. In particular, an approval and an outcome are reported as the two distinct things they are, and one is never presented as the other — an approval recording that a sample passed defined tests, rather than undertaking anything about a particular crash. Nothing here replaces a manufacturer's own instructions, the markings on a product, or the rules of the country you are in — and two statements are repeated on every page that touches them: a stated size is a published measurement and is never presented here as a fit, internal shape being neither published nor comparable between brands; and no helmet, no armour, no airbag and no lock is described on this site as making anything safe.
