It has to reach from the disc to the handlebar with the wheel turned. 1.5 m does that on most machines; a shorter cord can pull tight and come off the bar, which defeats the point.
It is the middle of this family — above the 5 mm scooter lock, well below the 16 mm shackle at the top. The material matters as much as the diameter and this listing names it.
