It is the one property of a chain lubricant that cannot be compromised: a spray whose solvents attack those rubber seals lets the factory grease escape, and the chain then wears at the pins where nothing you apply can reach.

Its lubricants are published as fully synthetic, water-repellent and fling-resistant at speed, with one of them transparent — which leaves the chain readable, so a tight spot or a rusting run can still be seen.

The bullet nobody else has

Its gel cleaner publishes “Contains 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one. May cause allergic reactions.”

That is a required disclosure for a preservative used widely in water-based products, and it appears in the listing rather than only on a back label. Putting a hazard statement in front of a buyer before the purchase is the seller being straightforward, and it is a reason to wear gloves rather than to avoid the product.
